In May 2025, Beijing hosted a meeting of the Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Belarusian-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee, where the parties discussed the issues of building up trade and investment cooperation, strengthening transport and logistics ties, implementing projects under the technical and economic assistance of the Government of the People's Republic of China, and promoting the China-Belarus Industrial Park "Great Stone". The main emphasis in joint work in the near future will be placed by the two countries on deepening and scaling up practical cooperation in the development of productive forces of new quality, strengthening technological and production cooperation. The priority areas in this work should be to increase the level of localization of existing joint ventures and promote new projects in machinery, machine tools and instrumentation, optics and electronics, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, petrochemicals and medical equipment production, as well as the creation of production clusters to meet the needs of large enterprises. How are these projects already being implemented? This is the subject of this study.
