The Present book is significant in several respects. First and foremost, thing is that it is one of the few studies analyses the Investors' behaviour towards selection of Mutual Fund Schemes. Further, this study used a very large samples containing various mutual fund investors of Chennai city. The present study used the well-established Path analysis and Structural Equation Models (SEM) for analyses the behaviour of the investors towards selection of mutual fund schemes. The result of the study also encouraging and it shows that transparency of operations of mutual fund scheme, tax benefits available on mutual funds, standardization in disclosures of scheme offer documents; frequent updating of website and keeps investors well-informed are attracted the more investors towards various schemes of mutual fund. Flexibility in fund management ensures short-term returns of income funds which attract the more investors.
