The book investigates the perception of investors in a rural bank most of whom are illiterates or semi-illiterates. Rural banks are the main source of financial service provider for rural dwellers who are mostly illiterates and semi-illiterates. The studies therefore seeks to find their level of knowledge of financial statements and what influences their decision when investing. The Author is a Ghanaian born on the 13th January, 1977. His hasa degree in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame NkrumahUniversity of Science and Technology in 2001.He obtained hisMasters in Business Administration from the Blekinge Institute ofTechnology in 2011. He works as a customs officer in the GhanaRevenue Authority in Accra, Ghana.
