Ionic liquids for pretreatment of biomass

This book is useful for all organic chemists and chemical engineers who work in biomass refining and treatment in which we display here all parameters that affect ionic liquids pretreatments of biomass to get biofuel. From our point of view, the ionic liquid pretreatment of biomass will be the next requirement in the world for renewable energy production to overcome the global energy shortage. Also, it will create competitiveness ability for some other industries such as edible oils extraction from sunflower plant, where cellulose residues are used to extract biofuels.

Tamer S. Saleh trabaja actualmente en el Departamento de Química de la Universidad de Jeddah. Investiga en química verde, sonoquímica y química orgánica.
