Details
The book proposed a prototype that insures continuous power supply to the load by confirming the availability of the solar, battery and grid. The power supply is switched to the main power line from the renewable source when the state of charge of battery falls below a certain level. It also deploys a monitoring system which records the energy consumed by the load from the two sources separately by using IoT on a real time basis. This enables the system to be properly analyzed and help in further development ventures. To make sure that the system is safe, remote controlling of the grid is made possible through the given model using IoT which would allow the handler to cut-off the electricity supply remotely when there is any surge in the electric supply. This auto-switching algorithm for auto-tripping of load in case of over consumption can also be very beneficial in case of fault or theft situations to act as a safety feature.
