Is migration a two-sided coin?

In this book, completed in February 2025, we will try to analyze more in depth the phenomenon of migration that can generate problems or conflicts in the host countries or societies, but can also bring great benefits for those countries or geographical areas where more labor is required, a greater number of consumers or more inhabitants because their very existence or survival is at stake, as in the case of Japan, South Korea or other developed countries. In the case of Japan, to cite just one example, its population continues to decline despite all the efforts made by its governments in recent years to try to increase the birth rate of its population, which has been declining for more than 30 years. Later on, we will see the details of the measures that these governments are adopting to try to face their demographic crises.
