The Author of the book deliberates the different stages of Islamic history and how the Muslim world gave in to the power of Europe in the age of colonialism. European powers were devastated by wars in the first half of the 20th century that accelerated the rise of United States of America in the center-stage of power. United States continued the preaching of the western values. After the fall of Soviet Union, US enjoyed unipolar moment. Then after several decades, the world witnessed the rise of other Powers such as China, Russia and Iran challenging the sole Superpower. United States has all the indications of the sick man of the world. This book also analyzes the unfolding events especially this time when the world sees the return of Great Powers conflict. The arrival of the coronavirus turns out to be the crossroad of human history. The COVID-19 facilitated the shift of power concentration from a sole superpower to a number of Major Powers.
