Israeli English Teachers Perception of Using ePortfolios instead of paper-based Log in Bagrut Literature Program offers an empirical study to explore the perception of English teachers towards using ePortfolios instead of paper-based portfolios/Logs that are used for writing and assessment at high schools. The study provides information about the benefits of ePortfolios in the classroom and their role in assessment. It also provides teachers perspective of their knowledge of ePortfolios and their potential use in their classes. That is, this study services teachers who want to turn to electronic portfolios to solve many of their problems, especially storing and grading the students artifacts. The findings of the study show positive attitude towards replacing paper-based portfolios with ePortfolios. The findings also show that two third of the participants are willing to use ePortfolios for their classes because they are aware of their benefits compared to traditional portfolios. This study should be of interest to the field of integrating technology into education as well as anyone interested in using ePortfolios to teach writing and assess artifacts in the writing class.

She has a Master degree in Foreign Literature from Ben Gurion University in Israel.Her relevant publication is Using E-portfolios and ESL Learners and her dissertation is Using ePortfolios to teach writing in English departments.
