The editors of this collection Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar, former Director of the Centre for south Asian studies and Ms. Naheed S. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Saleem Mazhar is Chairman, Department of Persian, University of the Punjab, Lahore. His research interests are social, cultural and literary relations of South and Central Asia. He has authored and edited several books and has widely published articles journals on South Asia, particularly Afghanistan and Central Asia.
