He currently performs for the Mexican-based promotion Asistencia Asesoría y Administración. In addition to AAA, Evans has wrestled for numerous independent promotions around the world, including Calgary's Stampede Wrestling, Ring of Honor, Dragon Gate, Combat Zone Wrestling, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Wrestling Society X. Evans made his debut in September 2000 against Tiger Redding. He then began wrestling in the Matrats promotion, which was set up by Eric Bischoff.
