JavaScript and the HTML5 Element

This is a short introduction to JavaScript programming that has been designed for people who want to learn how to create simple or not so simple animations with the HTML5 element. The text has been designed for people with minimal programming skills. However, even novice people can read it with no problem. The text starts with an introduction to HTML5. Then, it gradually introduces JavaScript. Later it explains how one can create animations with the HTML5 element and JavaScript.

Apostolos Syropoulos holds a B.Sc. in Physics, an M.Sc. in Computer Science, and a Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science. His research interests focus on computability theory, category theory, fuzzy set theory, and digital typography. He has authored or co-authored nine books and over 60 papers and articles.
