Jensen Atwood (born August 25, 1976) is an American actor who was raised and currently resides in South Central, Los Angeles. He has two younger sisters and two older brothers. Raised by his mother with older brother Jason "String" Atwood. He studied acting both at California State University, Long Beach and Playhouse West in Los Angeles, and currently studies with Eric Morris. He is known for his role in Noah's Arc as Wade Robinson. Noah's Arc is the first TV series featuring black gay men as main characters. In interviews, Atwood says that playing Wade was his most challenging role. Prior to joining the cast of Noah's Arc, Atwood played Johnny Taylor, opposite Halle Berry, in Oprah Winfrey Presents Their Eyes Were Watching God.
