The researcher has made an attempt to study about Job satisfaction of the officers in Banking Sector. Banking is an important sector because it s functioning is important for the nation at any time .The main objective of this study is to know the overall satisfaction of bank officers in Chennai, India. The study also aims to identify the influence of Job Satisfaction on turnover intention and absenteeism of bank officers in their respective banks. Its findings will be very useful for the top management of banks to ensure satisfaction in their workplace and hence can reduce absenteeism and Turnover intention. This book contributes richly towards the literary review of Job Satisfaction and the factors influencing Job Satisfaction and its influence on the work outcomes such as Turnover Intention and Absenteeism.
