"Kunst besitzt eine starke transformatorische Kraft", sagt Jonny Star (geb. 1964 in Düsseldorf, lebt und arbeitet in Berlin und New York). Die Kuratorin und Autorin Tina Sauerländer stellt Stars Oeuvre vor und beschreibt ihre Arbeitsweise und Entwicklung. Der Kunstkritiker und Publizist Ralf Hanselle widmet sich in seinem Essay der künstlerischen Utopie und den Anfängen der Künstlerin, ihrer Installation Weltstadt Berlin aus dem Jahr 1996.
