Juvenile delinquency in Lafiabougou

Juvenile delinquency is a very worrying phenomenon both nationally and internationally. Despite numerous investigations by specialists and the policies of African States with the unfailing support of NGOs and international organizations with the aim of eradicating it, it continues to strike at the heart of countries whose neighborhoods are described as risky or precarious. Mali, like other countries in the West African sub-region, cannot escape this unhealthy behavior on the part of the young people who live there. Indeed, the author will focus on the Lafiabougou neighborhood, a "nest of young delinquents" where not a day goes by without a case of illegal behavior or crime making the headlines. To do this, he will explore his field of investigation, which will allow him to describe the manifestations (causes) of this bad practice of young people within Malian society. Then, he will address in this same book the consequences related to this societal dysfunction vis-à-vis its inhabitants.

Mamadou Nabombo was born on December 19 in Mopti, in the 5th region of Mali. He began his schooling in Côte d'Ivoire, in Bada. Then he obtained his BAC with honors in Letters and Languages at the Modern High School of Mopti.
