Kashmir: Fractured Nativity

Kashmir remains politically mystified for the last six decades.India regards it as the content for its secularism and strength to its plural society,while Pakistan on the other hand, considers it as an unfinished agenda of partition. After the demise of the Cold War,some analysts perceived Kashmir as a case of ethno-nationalism.The fact remains that the invasional history, the Cold War politics followed by religious resurgence and degenerative politics have undermined its native cultural resurrection.The rupture of social and the disempowerment of politics with continued violence have caused further fragmentation of the society.Its life world remains stagnant and ailing.The book unfolds its subjectivity, in a discursive discourse, while diagnosing the problem beyond power politics of identity.
