Kazakhstani Cinematography: Historical Retrospective

The monograph explores the artistic images of Kazakhstan and Kazakhstani people in the national feature films of the Soviet and modern periods. The peculiarities of the epoch and mentality of people reflected on the screen are studied. In parallel, the process of origin, formation and development of cinematography of Kazakhstan as a kind of national art is described. The monograph is of theoretical and practical interest, contains useful materials and illustrations. The study uses the method of studying films as historical sources.
