This book explores Kierkegaardian concepts within pop culture. Though the relationship between Kierkegaard and pop culture may not have a long history, it is significant and ever-growing. Such a study illustrates the continued relevancy of Kierkegaardian thought and its impact on modern society.

Each chapter explores a distinct Kierkegaardian concept, such as despair, anxiety, the single individual, and faith. The book covers Kierkegaard's lesser-known signed works, in addition to his more famous works. The book also addresses a wide range of pop culture, from a children's television show to a serial killer drama, from anime to a billboard topping album, from a sitcom to a summer blockbuster movie. By examining the intersection of Kierkegaard and pop culture, this study provides insight into how Kierkegaardian thought is being developed in new ways and in different contexts.

Offers the first book-length treatment of Kierkegaardian concepts within pop culture Provides insight into how Kierkegaardian thought is being developed in new ways and in different contexts Uses a range of examples from popular culture
