Kindergarten through Third Grade Reading Tutors in Northeast MS

Many changes have occurred in education throughout the years. However, one thing has remained constant and that is the fact that some children require extra help such as tutoring to be successful. While exploring topics for my dissertation, I found that there was very little research on the subject of tutoring students and the results it yielded. Therefore, I decided to conduct research on this topic for my dissertation.

I began my teaching career in 1987. In addition to my Bachelor's degree, I also have my Master's and Ph.D in elementary education, all received from Mississippi State University. I hope that my work in this study inspires others to conduct more research on the topic of tutoring.
