Scientific researchers have found an old gourd which contains the blood of the French King Louis XVI. In-depth research have shown that the DNA of the blood found is very similar to the genetic material of the mummified head of an earlier French King. Tracing back history, the King Louis XVI is known to have been killed by guillotine by French revolutionaries more than 200 years ago, precisely on 21 January 1793. To put it bluntly, Louis XVI was born in 1754 and took the throne in 1774 upon the death of his grandfather, Louis XV. In fact, reports have registered that after the monarch Louis XVI's beheading many spectators were reported to have dipped their handkerchiefs in his blood. Subsequently, one of these pieces of fabric has been placed in a dried, hollowed-out gourd, leaving blood stains. The gourd is said to have belonged to a wealthy Italian family...
