Considerable study evidence has been emerged out to give the idea about that what matters is not the capability to generate information but to incorporate it in the right situation. Knowledge management deals with using information which creates value. With a mushrooming growth of engineering colleges across the country and their probable effort to transform the engineering education as such, it was deemed fit to focus on these higher educational institutions with regard to knowledge management practices. This study was confined to engineering colleges in Namakkal district.
