With a better understanding of its causes as well as how to treat them giving the hope that most of people can be cured. In the present work a model of gastritis was done using ethylene glycol "which is an antifreeze agent" to investigate the possible gastroprotective effect of L-arginine "the precursor of nitric oxide" using different histological techniques.
