La Prise de Kisangani

1700 ex-gendarmes (Tigres Katangais), dont 30 officiers en provenance du centre commando de Cabo-Ledo ont-ils été transportés à Kigali et à Kampala, conduits par les généraux Kafundanga (Sanga) et Morando. Ce contingent fut ensuite acheminé à Goma et à Bukavu, d'où il parcourut près de 1800 km pour atteindre Isiro. C'est là qu'il a pris la relève des deux brigades ougandaises qui opéraient dans la région du Haut-Zaïre. C'est ce contingent qui mena de la prise de Kisangani.
