Labour and childbirth

Childbirth is considered to be a social and biological event, unique to each woman and linked to her life story, beliefs and values. Many transformations occur during pregnancy, generating anxiety and expectations in pregnant women. The presence of a carer during this period brings emotional benefits, making expectant mothers feel calmer and safer during the labour process. This project aims to prepare pregnant women and their companions for labour and childbirth.
