Welfare of employees and their job satisfaction are considered as one of the basic ingredients of human resource development. Socio-economic and personnel decisions have direct positive/negative impact on the workers in industries and business organizations. The level of job satisfaction of the employees depends on social decision (in connection with welfare measures, safety and health measures), economic decision (related to financial aspects) and personnel decision (associated with transfer, promotion, grievance settlements etc). The employees who have satisfied with job can work effectively and efficiently, and contribute more towards achieving the objectives of their organizations. This book attempts to bring to light the evidences revealing the grassroots realities on 'Labour Management Practices'.
