Sandhya Rao Mehta is presently with the Department of English Language and Literature at Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat, Oman. She has published widely in the fields of English Language, with particular focus on English Language teaching (ELT) and critical thinking in language teaching. She has also worked on Diaspora Studies, gendered migration and postcolonial fiction, focusing on literature of the Indian diaspora.
