Language use Patterns of Elmolo Speakers of Lake Turkana-Kenya

Elmolo is the smallest language speaking community in Kenya. It is a marginalized community which has been negletcted for a very long time. its a minority community whose linguistic rights have been violated over the years. they are estimated to be 600 in population. they do not have a voice in running of the government in Kenya due to their numbers. they do not participate in the day to day running of the government matters in kenya. this book highlights on major issues with regard to the sociolinguistic and economic factors contributing to the Elmolo language use patterns. it will shed more light in as far as the factors related to the Elmolo language use which leads to its shift hence endangering the language. if nothing is done to avert this situation there will be the danger of total extinction of the language.
