Laparoscopic Adrenal Gland Surgery

The adrenal glands are located deep in the retroperitoneal compartment of the abdominal cavity. Their surgical approach to treat different pathologies has classically been performed by different routes. Currently video surgery has revolutionized the treatment, allowing both glands to be approached efficiently and with less morbidity. Surgical treatment can be performed laparoscopically with good results. The evolution of patients operated by this route is excellent and complications are very low as shown in the literature and in this series, and it can be considered at present as the approach of choice.
