Laser

A laser is a device that emits electromagnetic radiation through a process of optical magnification based on stimulated emission of photons. Several medical & dental specialties use lasers in their daily practice and it has become the standard of care for surgical therapy in ophthalmology, otolaryngology, gynecology, oral & maxillofacial surgery, endodontics, periodontics amongst a few. The purpose of this book is to describe the different types of hard and soft tissue lasers, it's application in various dental procedures, recent advances, Laser safety measures and the Future of Lasers in Periodontal Therapy.
