Leadership in Indian Banks
Details
The enormity of the importance of banks in the global economy makes it essential that banks are led by effective leaders who are strong on their values, and are innovative and inspiring. The book explores the development of the concepts of transformational leadership, innovative work behaviour and crisis management skills and describes a study on the presence and interaction of the said attributes in Managers working at the Operational level in Public & Private Sector Banks in India. It also provides relevant guidelines to promote the aforementioned qualities in Bank Managers - so that institutions that provide stability to economies characterized by unforseen expansion, rapid changes and unpredictability, remain stable and useful themselves.
