Leadership Motivation & Mentoring

Motivation plays a vital role in quality assurance in the educational system. Motivational strategies like staff training and development, promotion, salary increment and other remuneration rewards, improved working conditions, status and participatory decision-making; contribute greatly towards achieving quality assurance in the educational system. This booklet examines the relationship between work behavior and motivation. In a nutshell, the work examines how motivation in work environment, specifically in school, modifies job behavior. This work is meant as a quick reader to help school heads and management to address issues that influence quality assurance in the educational system. The booklet highlights the challenges that negatively influence teacher motivation and makes recommendations on how to overcome them.
