Learning to Write English

The present course aims to improve the writing skills of the learner and can also act as a bridge course for learner's who lack behind in this skill.Teaching materials have been produced for the learner who is expected to have studied English for 5-6 years, linguistically, he has been exposed to about 250 structures, and has a vocabulary of about 2500 words, the main part of which is passive.The objective of the present course is to teach the learner structurally related elements for the coding of meaning and grammatical units and grammatical operations.Objectives were decided upon after conducting a diagnostic test, evaluating the results of the test and determining the goals, keeping in view the learner and the instructional pattern.
