This book tries to include two aims; the first is to provide the students of dentistry a prelude to the English styles of writing and improve their practical abilities of using terminologies. Second, (Lecture Notes of English in Dentistry) is intended for students of dentistry at the high intermediate or advanced level who are well acquainted with the English structural patters of language. The principle target for learners of this program is to master the specific vocabularies and develop their skills to communicate in English of dentistry with reference to a particular area of work and study. It discusses some issues of language and culture, communication among humans, phonetic representation, physiology of sound systems, human speech organs, medical roots of vocabularies, contents of oral cavity and mechanisms of articulations, facts about word classes, general tips and definitions about medical sciences and terminologies. I hope that by reading this book, studying vocabularies and doing some notes about the ideas it contains, the reader will get a good starting point towards a successful career in a rewarding dental fields of study and work.
