This book is based on notes for the lecture course in "Measure and Integration" . Indian universities. The pre-requisites for this book are real analysis, linear algebra and Riemann Integration. The book is intended to serve the purpose of providing post graduate course in various Indian Universities and to the researchers in this direction. It has applications not only in pure mathematics but also in different branches of applied mathematics and probability. The book approaches integration via measures. Various topics have been carefully planned in a proper way and a few solved and unsolved problems of important concepts are included in chapters. The proofs of mathematics involved are set out clearly and in considerable detail.

Dr. Salila Dutta has obtained her Ph.D degree from IIT Kharagpur, India. She has 34 years of teaching experience at PG level. Dr. P. Baliarsingh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
