Legal and Conceptual Foundations of Human Trafficking in Spain:

This paper aims to provide an overview of the complex and worrying phenomenon of human trafficking, considered one of the most lucrative illicit activities worldwide.The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the complex and worrying phenomenon of human trafficking, considered one of the most lucrative illicit activities on a global scale. In addition, some notions are presented on the regulation that exists on the matter in Spain, both at international level, by virtue of a series of international instruments, and at domestic level, by means of the Spanish Penal Code. Finally, the paper closes with some final considerations by way of recapitulation and personal reflection.
