Legal aspects of the work of solid waste collectors

This was a study and research project on Environmental Law, based on the principles and legislation that govern it, from an educational perspective, also dealing with the responsibility of citizens and public authorities towards the environment, as well as the role of solid waste workers in society, pointing out the difficulties they face and identifying the importance of their work in the legal and social spheres.

Maria Mileny, Brazilian, born in Caruaru-PE, has a degree in Pedagogy, a postgraduate degree in School Management and Pedagogical Coordination from FAFICA, and a bachelor's degree in Law from Faculdade ASCES/UNITA. A teacher of early grades in rural education, she devotes her time to educational, environmental and legal issues on social problems.
