The term "property of religious purpose" is most often used in the meaning of "church property. The legal literature notes the complexity of the study of this concept due to the different perception of its content.In the legal literature, the coverage of this issue is given little space, which actualizes the need for legal analysis of the peculiarities of the procedure for the transfer of religious property to religious organizations. Obviously, a full and clear understanding of the property of religious purpose and the procedure for its use can be made only by studying in the aggregate the relevant normative acts, judicial practice, academic and scientific literature.
