Letrozole loaded biodegradable polymeric implants

Breast cancer is the most common female malignancy in both the developing and developed world. Polymeric drug delivery systems are an attractive alternative to control the release of drug to obtain defined blood levels over a specified period of time. This study fabricated and evaluated natural biodegradable polymeric Letrozole implant for long term drug release for treating metastatic breast cancer in post menopausal women.
