LGBT people

Gender and sexual orientation are characteristics that make up the identity and subjectivity of individuals, directly influencing their psyche. Nowadays, society is discussing identity and sexual issues, and with this comes different forms of understanding and social reaction, one of which is violence, which many of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender and Transvestite (LGBT) population face on a daily basis. The aim of this study was to outline the sociodemographic profile of a group of LGBT people, identify the types of violence they suffer and identify their cognitive and behavioural reactions to the violence they experience.

Er hat einen Abschluss in Psychologie von der Universidade do Oeste de Santa Catarina (2018) und einen Abschluss in darstellender Kunst (Theater). Derzeit arbeitet er als Pädagoge und Psychologe im Projekt "Besseres Leben" des Gesundheitsamtes der Stadt Harval D'oeste und als Schauspieler und Kulturproduzent in der Theatergruppe Reminiscências de Joaçaba.
