LIFE CYCLE ASSESSMENT AND ITS IMPORTANCE

To aim to produce with less damage to the environment is necessary to know the impacts caused by the entire production process, and thus make efficient the entire production chain of the product. Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) has become a fundamental tool for environmental management, in the quest to produce sustainable products. To apply LCA it is necessary to know the standards and their applications, as well as define the goal and scope to then perform the construction of the inventory, as well as to know the evolution of research related to this theme.
