The objective of this research is to reconstruct the socio-community and productive trajectories of Afro-descendant women in the mining context, in the township of Honduras, municipality of Buenos Aires, Cauca, through categories of analysis such as: community ties, transformation and continuity in the ancestral mining practice and changes in family dynamics. Thus, the research was carried out through a qualitative methodology from the ethnographic approach, which took into account the life stories of twelve women miners of the township of Honduras, Cauca, in order to know and make visible their daily lives around the artisanal and rudimentary mining activity.
