Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS)

For making a new drug formulation the first and primary step is to choose a promising active pharmaceutical ingredient. Now to detect it the available method present is the use of high throughput, by which you can test thousands of molecule in short time. That sounds quite good, but the drawback of this process is that it requires lot of technical skill along with a professional a laboratory and lot of hygiene. Now to over come all these things a new method is invented that is called class four X-Ray machine known as Linac Coherent Light Source (LCLS). With this machine you can take the X=ray of the molecules in fraction of mill second. Hence this new method is time efficient more accurate and also needs less man power, hence it has become the first preference for the researchers and the pharmaceutical company which are doing research to make new drug formaulation.
