Liveable cities

Urban green spaces are an important element in structure of cities. From these spaces can be named as the urban breathing lungs that they have various functions such as: City beautification, environmental modulators and leisure. Also green space is as important and valuable criterion due to environmental, social, cultural and economic functions. Now days is panned, regardless of urban natural potential that we are seeing their effects in our cities. Studding of natural - environmental criterion is one of the basic steps for planning of green space that is led to sustainable city.The goal of this book, showing important green urban space in cities today, also, writer believed one factor in order to achieving livable city, is green cities. On the other hand , planning in order to developing parks and urban green spaces by sustainable development approach , also , finally , was proposed strategies in order improving urban environment quality . This book has been proposed in three sections. In chapter 1, was studied importance of green space and chapter 2 review literature of parks making in Europe, America and Iran. At finally was analyzed urban green spaces in iran .
