'Livelihoods of vulnerable children: A study of street urchins of Mutare' is a research conducted by Kingston T.G. Makoni between December - February 2012 in the city of Mutare in Zimbabwe. The research aimed to find out the forces driving children unto the streets, their family backgrounds, demographic characteristics, as well as their survival strategies. Both qualitative and quantitative research methods were put into effect to acquire this information.

Kingston T.G. Makoni was born on October 4, 1989 and grew up in the city of Mutare in Zimbabwe. He graduated and acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology at the University of Zimbabwe in 2012.
