Liver cancer signaling pathways: etiology and targeted therapy

We clarify the carcinogenic functions of some signalling pathways in liver cancer, particularly hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and the status of inhibitor research as it stands at the moment. This calls for the urgent creation of novel, focused strategies as well as the removal of current obstacles. In an attempt to improve the patients' unsatisfactory prognostic outlook, this book aims to clarify the use of targeted therapy in advanced liver cancer and the mechanisms underlying the phenomenon of resistance that arises frequently when treating HCC.
