Liver transplantation is one of the few truly life-saving and life-altering procedures in medicine, but at the same time it is a highly risky procedure. Hesham Abdeldayem, graduated from Kasr Elaini School of Medicine(1987), where he obtained his MSc,and MD degrees (1992 and 1997) and trained as a resident in Gen Surg. and A.Lecturer in Microbiology and then at STI, Pittsbugh,USA (2000-2002). In 2008, he was appointed as a Professor of HPB Surgery at the National Liver Institute, Menofia University
