Livestock Quality Assuranace

Animal identification and traceability has been increasingly demanded of developing countries by the global market for meat and livestock. It is often closely integrated to the compliance of disease control procedures as an epidemiological tool and has a heavy impact on matters such as public health and trade. This thesis describes the steps and benefits of such an investment in the pastoral production systems of Kenya.
