Loading Protocols in Implant Dentistry

There are many ways to restore missing teeth like dentures, fixed or removable partial prostheses but each method has its pros and cons. Of all these different treatment modalities, implants are considered a superior method of rehabilitation due to its versatility for different amounts of available bone. Loading protocols for dental implants have been a central focus of discussion in the field since the origin of osseointegration. Changes in loading protocols are not uncommon in implant dentistry. Loading of implants considerably affects the implant longevity in an individual. The clinicians should assess the condition first and then make his treatment plan for prosthetic loading of implant.
