Amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, the role of barangays in the Northern Philippines was put to the test. As representatives of the government in grass-root level areas, they were given heightened responsibilities by the national government through the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF).This book delves into the responsiveness of five barangays in Tuguegarao City, a local town in the Philippines, to the implementation of IATF protocols and also highlights the challenges and issues that the stakeholders experienced.Overall, this book sheds light on the crucial role of barangays in responding to the pandemic and how their responsiveness affected the implementation of IATF protocols.
