Logistics response to the outbreak of diseases

This book is devoted to optimize the health care logistics which can support emergency management plans to reduce the impacts of outbreak of diseases. With the help of mathematical model and computer simulation, we present the optimization method to improve the heal care logistics with the objective of minimizing the number of deaths. This book can be used as a guide for the decision makers for health care logistics organization.

Wanying (Amanda) CHEN is a Lecturer of Management and E-business school at Zhejiang Gongshang University, Hangzhou, China. She holds a Ph.D. and MSc from University of Lyon, France. She was a post-doc researcher at DISP, France. She also worked in the CIRRELT, Canada, as a researcher.
